NORWEGIAN HARDCORE

In my eyes, Norwegian hardcore punk stands as one of the most unique and awesome scenes of the 80s. Bands like Svart Framtid, Kafka Prosess, Bannlyst, Siste Dagers Helvete, Barn av Regnbuen , etc. were absolutely amazing. Here are some photos and links and what not of some awesome Norwegian bands.

A clip of Svart Framtid playing Snuteterror (police terror) a movie made about the famous blitz squat in oslo from 1983. Absolutely awesome!

KAFKA PROSESS, live on their tour with Heresy in 87.

Egg Mangel

EGG MANGEL

This is a recording from a Show in Stockholm sometime in 1986 where Disarm, Svart Parad, Krunch, Raped Teenagers, and Rovsvett played. The actual release is a bootleg from sometime in the early 90s.

SVART PARAD

Svart Parad was a Very awesome Swedish hardcore punk band that existed between 1984 and 1986, in that short time they released 6 demos. They also appeared on a number of awesome compilations. The band was very politically charged, their lyrics took a pro-anarchy, peace, animal rights , and anti war stand. They're sound was very primitive d-beat in the beginning but they slowly developed a raw unique style with a very metallic edge.

THE ICONOCLAST

This is the Iconoclast from Sylmar, California. Not Japan or the New Jersey Iconoclast. The Iconoclast were an awesome band that played amazing hardcore punk in the vein of Discharge and Crucifix. They are my personal favorite U.S. band from the 80s. Im posting a link to a complete discography from these frequently overlooked greats.
The stuff included is:

Iconoclast 1983 demo
Iconoclast 1984 demo (Domination or Destruction Demo)
Compilation tracks from Flipside and the P.E.A.C.E comp ( the tracks are different versions of battlefields, and domination or destruction, my favorite songs by them)
A live set from an Anti Klan benefit thats about 20 minutes long. (i dont have the tracklist sorry! but its fucking awesome)
Iconoclast In These Times EP

Here is a Video of the band, At the bottom theres a link to their myspace page.

WRETCHED

To start off a blog called "Chaos Non Musica" I figured I would make the first post dedicated to the one and only Wretched. Ripping Italian Hardcore Punk attack with furious vocals and chaotic arrangements. Their "LIBERO DI VIVERE, LIBERO DI MORIRE, NESSUNO PUĂ’ DECIDERE PER TE " Lp was self released on their label Chaos Produzioni in 1984.

Here is a short biography taken from Killfromtheheart.com (check out that site its amazing!)

Wretched hailed from Milan, Italy circa 1980. Along with bands like Negazione and Cheetah Chrome Motherfuckers, they are the embodiment of the abrasively noisy Italian hardcore sound. The original line-up was Gigi on guitar, Fabio on bass, Giancarlo on drums, and Gian mario singing. This version of Wretched debuted on their 1982 split EP with Indigesti. The music the band created was furious and raw, with trashed guitars, shrieked vocals, and barely-holding-on drums. Although they originally sang in English, they soon switched to their native Italian, finding it better suited to expressing their radical political message. The band took strong anti-war and pro-anarchist stands through their lyrics and imagery. They also self-released all of their records on a label that came to be known as Chaos Produzioni. The band lived at the infamous Milano squat Virus, which played host to many classic hardcore shows in the early-mid '80's. Wretched lived and breathed the DIY spirit of rebellion that they advocated in their music.

The band recorded their first EP before switching guitar players and drummers in 1984. Daniele (guitar) and Crema (drums) played on the next record, Finira Mai? and on the full length. These releases established Wretched as one of the best hardcore bands in the world. Appearences on BCT tape comps and the seminal international compilation P.E.A.C.E. spread the word of "Chaos non musica" to everywhere punk was being played. Zambo took over drums in 1985, and the band began its shift into more heavy metal territory. They recorded one more LP and a 7" before internal problems (including Mario's shredded vocal chords) and line-up changes forced them to call it quits. Before melting down, they played the last show at Virus with Antisect. Unfortunately, Wretched's strong commitment to doing it themselves meant that their records have always been hard to get outside of Italy. An official CD discography (mysteriously missing the first EP) came out some time in the mid '90s, and the Furious Years of Italian Hardcore compilation CD fills in the hole. There are also plenty of people out there with tapes or CD-R's of this amazing band. It's well worth tracking one down.

Here is a link to the LP, The other stuff is pretty easy to find around blogs and what not.
